I'm going to start building a new pc, my first PC in about three years. I'm planning on staying in the upgrade loop and so therefore require a "decent" case. I have no-idea what my needs are other than I would like it to last me several iterations of PC over three/four years (until I finish uni) and that I'd like it to be relatively quiet (as it will be kept in my room), although the latter is not essential.

So...What case should I buy and why and Why did you buy the case that you currently own?

Funny you should say that, because I was looking at the Lian Li site last night and saw it and went "OoooOooOoooo". I wasn't too keen on the silver though! The black one is definitely an option, thanks. Anyone else?

Eeek! :D

The only thing that worry's me though, is this....

That is true, they are normally top right (going by that picture), but still it's a pretty poor show for a case of it's size!

Top left you mean? But as I say, its not a problem ive come across with mine. There are a few niggles with the case, but they are due to me trying to fit so much into the case.

Yes, sorry, top left. The SPCR review looked a lot more promising.

Well it's going to be a pretty minimal system at first, a basic C2D system with hopefully an 8800GTS, but I'm planning on fitting four HDD's and would like room to add more.

The SPCR review of what? The v2000?

Yeah, he seemed to have a lot more slack on his header cables.

I would maybe look at adding some kind of water cooling in the future, just to say "I have" and for the experience, not because I would necessarily need it. The only thing that worries me now, is lugging it too and from uni. It looks 'king huge!

That's great!

Think you've just sold me a case :D

EDIT: What happened to your lower HDD cages?
