sell my DDR2 while the prices are high?

Hi,

Just had a thought I have a P35-DS3r - it can take DDR2 and DDr3, given the prices of DDR2 are so high atm should I sell my DDR2 and buy DDR3?

I doubt I will see any performace increase but would be a cheap upgrade and I can then use this DDR3 on future builds.

Sensible idea or just leave it be?

I really should buy 4gb of RAM before the prices rise any further - the only thing I can add is that if you move to I7 or such a refresh I believe that it benefits from triple channel DDR3 that has to run under 1.65v - so consider than when making a decision

well you can sell ddr2 for around 40-60 pound. so i think you should wait for ddr3 to come slightly a little more down
