Hi
I currently have a Dell U2711 which has been fantastic but has a couple of flaws which has me wanting to change to something else.
The two main issues I have with this screen are:
1. The screen coating
2. Cannot display a 50hz signal without processing it to 60Hz. This is a real pain as I use this screen for watching TV and the judder is very annoying.
I have been intrigued by the release of these new 2560x1080 screens, and the Dell I believe will display a 50hz signal without judder, I wonder if the LG would do the same?
I don't do any photo editing and I use my PC for watching films, TV shows, gaming and browsing.
So my question to the knowledgeable people of OcUK is, what screen should I go for given that I don't want to spend more than I can currently expect from the selling of my screen so something around £400 (I am willing to stretch to £450 tops).
Many thanks in advance
