My Ducati 748 broke down today, got it running again. Just a dodgy connection on a fuse.

Anyway, whilst working on the bike I decided it's time to move on, she is 11 years old and the age is starting to show in both performance and looks.

So, I doubt I would get £3k for it, I paid £3500, put termis on, full engine rebuild/shim, crank balance ect ect coming in at £2k. Done by the best in England! (Richard at Louigi Moto).

So will I make more money selling the bike whole or break it up?

I want a Ducati 848 Evo but can't justify having both a 848 Evo and a 748.

My 748 has all the pleasentries as well, Pazzo leavers, Renthal sprocket carrier, single seat (official, not some shoddy fibreglass remake), tons of CF stuff... So yea, not your bog standard 748.

I will miss her dearly, but for my ride style I am killing her as the age just isn't helping. And me being a bit of a looney when on her isnt making it easy :(

Ags

Put it back to bog standard and sell the toys and carbon bits as its always the book price that determines the sale price, not the added extras ;)

Lots of people want these for track bikes ! ;)

Not man enough for the 1198S then huh :D:D Lovely bike the 848EVO though :D

haha, I did twiddle my thumbs over a 1098 R last night, but due to age, insurance would be through the roof, maybe in a few more years :P

Been up since half 7 again fixing the bike, just put the engine back in the frame, all seems fine internally... Must be a connection! But which one in the dreaded Ducti electrical loom is it? lol
