I'm looking to sell my phone, but don't have access to the section on here.. can anyone recommend any good places to advertise it? I don't really fancy eBay, what with fees, paypal, they really do take a big chunk out of it.

Selling a phone on eBay isn't too bad providing you're clever with your buyer requirements and just use your common sense. My gripe with them is the 10% seller fee and 3-4% Paypal fees. I'm getting more for my 3GS through the o2 recycle scheme than I ended up getting for my 3G a year ago that I sold on eBay.
How much do you guys think is a good price to expect for a 3GS 16GB Black?
It's in mint condition, no scratches accept a slgiht scuff on the silver bezel. I have a had a case and screen protector since purchased in August.

It doesn't matter if you did have access, phone classifieds are forbidden in the Members market.
I selling my phones on an AV forum, can't stand eBay.

Well, I sold my 3g 8GB with 3 months warranty (as new as it had just been replaced by Apple) for just over £300 on Ebay. £40 in Ebay/PayPal fees but I got a lot more than those recycle schemes were offering.
