Selling a TV - where is the best place?

My partner made a mistake of saying she wouldn't be totally against getting a 65" TV (which is rather annoying as I suggested we get a 65" one last year but she won the argument and we got a 55" one) and so I've decided that means 'we should now get a 65" right away'

It's not an old TV, a 2020 LG CX55 OLED so I'd like to think I'd be able to get at least something for it and if it was to put a dent into the cost of a newer but bigger TV I think i'd be able to argue that quite convincingly.

I'm sure some of you must have sold older TVs so wonder where you did it? Had hoped one of the big resellers would've done trade in offers but sadly they are not doing it at the moment.

Makes it a lot easier if you still have the box / manuals / and did come with a 5 year warranty.

But anywhere like gumtree / ebay / facebook market etc.

I sold same model as you recently and managed to get £700 for reference, but that was to a friend, so made it a lot easier than worrying about fees or possible scammers etc.

You could flip that on here easy enough. AV forums also have an available section i believe.

I am curious how much you're looking for with collection ;)
But you'll need to make a thread in MM.

Annoyingly (she never listens to me and I hate being right when it comes to gadgets) she made me dispose of the box

I was actually thinking it would be around £700 return which seems to be in the right ball park

I'm going to run it by her one last time so I don't end up sleeping on the sofa :p
