So currently I'm on e-bay and I'm trying to sell:

Xbox 250gb (black slim) w/ wired black pad and HDMI cable.
Assassins Creed: Revelations,
Battlefield 3,
Gears of War 3,
Fifa 12 &
Skryim.

I tried to sell this for £250 starting bid with a £350 buy out, I got 6 watchers, but no bids and it went unsold, so I thought okay, okay, let's put this down a notch.

I re-listed it and put it up for £225 starting bid and no buyout, only got 1 watcher on it so far and I think it's been up a little over a day.

Do these not sell on e-bay or something? I really want to get rid of it for PC components and such, it's quite a good deal I think, they are all very recent games, some basically brand new, I don't get it.

Have a look on ebay for the same sort of stuff and see how much it all goes for?

Some people are wary of buying modern console stuff on ebay anyway as some duffers can be had :(

Consoles (new) are going for like £170-180 and that's without games and such, I've only got 15 stars, but i've got 100% positive and i've got very good feedback :/

Depends on who wants what, sometimes there's a dry spell, sometimes you get lucky. Tbh, I'd start up with a 100 starting bid and it will slowly attract people to bid, or you could always set a reserve that you would want.

That sounds like a more plausible option.
£100 bid, £250 reserve or something.

I sold a DSi with 5 games inc Pokeman Gold when was first released, 2 years ago for £75!!!!(boxed, like new) around this time of the year.

My advice, do not sell it at this time of the year(even though you'd think it would be the best).

EDIT: Oh, sell them games separately asap, might be a good idea... maybe keep one.

Split the items up, I guarantee you you'll get at least 10-20% more than what you'd get for them bundled together. Think about it - with the bundle you'd need several buyers to want exactly the games you're offering for them to sell for their worth. The only dissadvantage is you'll spend an extra £5 or so on postage costs.

I'd personally list everything for a 1p starting price, for one it'll save on listing fees and it'll also generate a bit of interest from people hoping to nab a bargain. Don't worry about them selling for dirt cheap, they're all extremely popular items with thousands looking on eBay to buy them, so they'll sell for their market value.

Yeah, I'd sell the console with the wired pad and Fifa 2012 together, and split the rest up.

EDIT: Only if you really need the money now though, I'm sure my DSi episode was not a one off, because I think I sold a PS3 with tons of games around the same time for next to nowt.

I might go ahead and do this then, thanks for the tips so would this be okay?

xbox 250gb + fifa 12 = £100 start price (£170 reserve)
skyrim, bf3, gow and ac = 1p (have a reserve on them too?)

There's always somewhere selling that console for £150-159 new. That's a good bundle of games you have there but almost all games had be had for cheap within a few weeks. At the moment, you should be able to get £30+ for each of those but it won't be long before they are all cheap games. Assassins creed: brotherhood has been about a tenner new for absolutely ages so the new one will probably follow.

I use watch lists for 2 reasons.

1 - Making a note of stuff I'm interested in buying at some point in the future

2 - Check the price of stuff I want to sell ;)

As you can see, just having something watched is clearly no indicator for potential buyers.

I find 99p starts end up selling for more and sell better than starting at a certain price. Ie Catherine was listed for £30 didn't sell and one started at 99p and went for £32.

You could do what everyone one else seems to do on eBay and get a mate to put a bid in for just under what you want for it!

Seriously split everything up, list at 99p and set a reserve for the absolute least you would accept.

I also agree with Subliminal Aura, I often watch items i'm interested in buying at a later date or because I want to sell the same item.

Thanks for all of the advice guys, I'm going to wait until the current auction ends and then going to set everything up for a 1p auction and reserve the prices.

xbox w/ fifa 12 - 99p bid / £160 reserve.
skyrim, ac and battlefield - 99p bid / £30 reserve
gow3 - 99p bid / £20 reserve

sound good?

Reserve price auctions have a minimum value of £50.
