Selling CoD4? (online key activation question)

I'm getting rid of a few games shortly but one I'm not sure about is Call of Duty 4. I've played the game a bit online so the key has been used (although I can't recall going through a registration process). Is uninstalling this title enough to free up my key or is this going to be a problem for whoever buys this off me?

If the key is registered online I don't think simply uninstalling frees it up :/ Though I don't remember having to activate it online. I would've thought it'd be fine to sell on though if that's your plan

Thanks - That's what I thought. But with all the squealing about DRM last year I thought I'd check first.
