Is there anything you have to do nowadays because of Steam? I am selling Wolfenstein and Cod: Advanced Warfare. The former was a steam download, the latter was an actual CD but it loads through steam. Do I need to do anything before selling them?

Yeah, they are tied to your account then so you won't be able to sell without giving up your entire steam account. Even then its against the ToS to sell.

So you are saying Cod automatically connects with steam and there is no way out? Wow didnt realise that! Last time Im paying for a game. Digital rights suck

If you read the small print you will find that you don't actually own the game anyway. Plus ,when you clicked to "accept" you also signed away the rights to your transplantable organs and any as yet unborn children.

You obviously haven't read the terms whilst installing the game, because there's absolutely no chance you just put the disc in and played it. You have to put the serial in, and agree to the Steam subscriber agreement, and so on.

Their terms aren't fair, and realistically you should be able to relinquish games and trade them with others, but that is a different issue. Using this as an excuse to pirate is just idiotic.

This is why I stick to the sales, only spend what I would lose on a game in depreciation if it were a console game I was selling.
