Selling IMAC ..Memory Question

I have a 16GB Imac 27 inch late 2009 which will soon be on the marketplace. If I re-install the 4gb original memory will i be able to use the 16gb on the new mid-11 Imacs?

Or will I be better off selling the IMac with the 16GB and just getting more memory for the new IMac from Crucial?

2009 used 1066, mid 2010 started using 1333. You'll be able to use 1066. If it was the other way round and you were putting newer RAM into the 2009 iMac you'd be able to use 1333 but it would run at 1066.
