Main house PC is as follows:

Wavemaster Case
Intel Core2 Duo E6600
2GB Geil DDR2 memory
Geforce 7800GT
Samsung 2GB Spinpoint
19" Digimate TFT

Question is, what spec of laptop am I looking at to get similar performance? Can anyone recommend and specific make/model?
The above PC is used as a media centre hub as well as a few games such as WoW. Nothing to intense. Laptop budget would be about £700 or there about...

You'll probably find the hard drive and graphics card will be way below that performance, and the CPU will only be an 800FSB version.

If you're only playing WoW then frankly you can get almost any Core2duo with 2Gb RAM and any graphics card with dedicated memory.

Hell it runs well on my Dell D620 and it doesn't even have a proper graphics card!

If you check their outlet you could get an M1710 with 7950GTX that would give excellent gaming performance. The only thing that could better that would be the M1730 with dual 8800's

Ok, now looking at the XPS M1710 and have haggled free delivery and a free hard drive upgrade to 320Gb. ...price is just under the 900 mark
I have gone for the 4gb of ram and upgraded screen as well but would just like to know how capable the Nvidia 7900 GS graphics card is? I know it wont exactly be cutting edge, but is it reasonable to expect WoW to run full pelt at max settings?

Cheers guys
