Not sure if this is allowed but i didn't get a reply to a couple of emails i sent to mods.

I bought a copy of Windows 8 OEM from OCUK

I ended up not using this so its brand new and unused, however because its OEM i seem to be unable to sell it on the MM or ebay. Does anyone know where i might be able to list this for sale?

Cheers

I believe all Windows 8 versions are OEM but aren't restricted to one system like Windows 7. As long as the product key is used on one system at a time you should be fine selling it as per the licence agreement.

If its unused and sealed, you can sell it in the MM.

Cheers, the out package isn't sealed but the actual dvd is still sealed and i can confirm its never been used.

Would that be ok? Otherwise i'll try and find somewhere else to sell.

Cheers

MS allows you to sell win8 oem if you've bought it separately (standalone) even if you've used it

Q. What happens if I build a computer with a Personal Use Licence, then later decide to sell it?
A. You may transfer the software to another computer that belongs to you. You may also transfer the software (together with the licence) to a computer owned by someone else if a) you are the first licensed user of the software and b) the new user agrees to the terms of this agreement. To make that transfer, you must transfer the original media, the certificate of authenticity, the product key and the proof of purchase directly to that other person, without retaining any copies of the software. You may use the backup copy we allow you to make or the media that the software came on to transfer the software. Anytime you transfer the software to a new computer, you must remove the software from the prior computer. You may not transfer the software to share licences between computers. You may transfer Get Genuine Windows software, Pro Pack or Media Center Pack software only together with the licensed computer.
