Selling old kit

Hi all

I am way off the number of posts to be able to get access to the Members Market so am looking at other places to sell my old kit. I have heard horror stories from people on here with ebay so am just wondering what anyone would recommend. it is only bits and pieces not full system.

Ebay have stronger protections than most websites, especially gumtree.
You're only going to get better results if you personally visit the vendor and confirm that device for yourself.

Other forums - but people aren't gonna say where cos there are rules about "competitors" I believe

Competitors means "Don't tell someone to buy at another shop instead of OcUK", I don't think it's verboten to mention other forums. I could be wrong

A grey area perhaps, not that I'd trust many other forums which I don't have a word of mouth connection to - especially if you're not picking the item up in person. A certain famous auction site is probably your best bet, or MM.
