Anyone got any recommendations for selling old motorcycle clothing?

I'd like to pop a pile of stuff to a shop or something for them to look at and offer me a sum for, but I dunno if such place exists?

Last resort is auction. But it's a bit of a pain adding and posting each item, and I really have no idea how much they're worth etc.

So yeah, suggestions please :)

I don't know of such a shop but this is crying out for the use of a well known auction site :)

Just have a look at whats already on there then price your stuff accordingly, that's if its main stream enough to have similar items on there already.

Postage isn't that much of a hassle, I don't need to explain to you how to suck eggs so to speak but it really shouldn't cost a lot, tesco > value brown wrapping paper > profit. Even better old boxes lying around the house!
If you ramp up the 'dispatch within' part of your auction then you wont have to make multiple trips to the post office either.

Luckily for me the post office is 30 seconds walk away :p

That's one of my problems. This is all pretty cheapy low end stuff I bought when I first started riding. It's just been sat in a cupboard for well over a year. And I have problems with postage as by the time I get back from work the post office is closed. I have to rely on relatives to drop stuff in for me, or pop in on a Saturday morning.

Be nice if I could just shift the pile all in one go :)

I'd probably let it go for next to nothing if I could find a new rider looking for cheap kit.

Maybe I could try a few training schools :)

Maybe you could auction it off as a set? Then you'd only have to post one box full of gubbins, to one address, take it on a Saturday maybe...

Good idea, this time of year loads of people are looking to start or dig out old bikes especially with the weather we've been having, stick it on EBay with local pick up only, you may be surprised :)

Could do. Have to be someone with similar dimensions, so a short arse :p

I'll stick everything together and see what I have in total. Even if I just got a ton for the lot it'd be better than having it just sit in a cupboard :)

Any thoughts on what would be a good ballpark figure for the following:

3 pairs of Draggin Jeans
2 x black standard jean. 32” waist, 27” leg.
1 x black combat style. 32” waist, 26” leg.

Richa Armoured Motorcycle Trousers (Size: KM)
Waist 32”, leg 29”.
Removable thermal lining.

Richa Armoured Motorcycle Jacket (Size: M)
Removable thermal lining.

Richa Waterproof Motorcycle Gloves (Size: M)
Armoured Knuckles.

Wolf Summer Motorcycle Gloves (Size: M)
Air holes on fingers.
Armoured knuckles.

I'm thinking selling the lot in one go to a new rider would be good.

Basically it's a whole set, bar a helmet and boots.
