selling on copy of w7 ?

guys looking for some advise , i have a retail copy of w7 home premium that i want to sell on as ive upgraded to ultimate.

is there anything i need to do befor i sell it, also will the key still work when it gets installed on a new system ? :confused:

only asking as it was second hand when i bought it , and i dont want any come backs.

If it's a retail copy it's fine, since it can be installed on any system many times. It's only the OEM copy that gets locked down to your motherboard.

Was the Ultimate copy a full retail version or upgrade version?

full version of ultimate , and yes the copy on home is retail with both 64 and 32 bit dvds.

so i am ok selling it on with no issues?

As long as it's retail you are OK to sell it, otherwise if it's OEM you have to sell it with the hardware you purchased it with.

If the copy of 7 Ultimate is indeed the full retail version (NOT an upgrade version) then yes your retail copy of 7 Home Premium is free to sell and you shouldn't have any problems.
