Not sure if this is in the correct place, or if I am actually allowed to post, so sorry if it's against the rules.

Me Dad was looking into selling furniture via the bay, but with the charges they add, paypal's charges and P&P he would lose around a 10th of his sale.

P&P is cheap enough, as he can ship anywhere in UK for £20 for a 3 peice suite and cant do anything about how much ebay charge.

So would ther be any alternatives to paypal like some other secure web payment service, other than cheque e.t.c.
 
I'd personally stick with a cheque or the like for anything expensive, it's harder for people to scam you when you don't use paypal.
