Hi there,

Has anyone got any experience with selling private registrations? If so, how and where is the best place?

A friend has sold registrations on eBay with some success but wondering what I need to show/share/give to the prospective buyer and things to be aware of.

Hah!

I would have thought the collective expertise of OcUK would have sold registrations. I would sell on eBay and transfer to the new owner upon sale with the retention document online. Just wondering if there is anything to be wary of.
 
I haven't sold one @Logsi , but my son has just bought one through RegTransfers. He's of the opinion that they buy registrations as well.

We sold one that was left on a car by someone else with RegTransfers. They ended up selling it after around 3 months of it sitting there - think we got around £120 after fees etc. but given it was free in the first place I can't really complain :)
 
I put it up on Reg Transfers. Will leave it there and see if there is any takers. They list it then let you know when there is a buyer. Fingers crossed!
