Hi all

I have a few brand new, couple of years old trainers I'm possibly thinking about selling.

Does anyone on here have much experience with selling them online through eBay, stockx etc.

I did have a quick look on stockx and the fees they took off you looked ridiculous, so I don't think there an option.

What is the case with eBay?

- I'm I right in thinking you have to send them off to eBay first to be checked before they send off to the buyer?

- How much do you pay for the listing?

- Am I better decided a price I want for them and putting it on buy it now at that price?

- Do eBay pay the money straight into your account or would you have to get it paid to PayPal who then I presume are going to charge you a fee to move the money?

- Id want to use royal mail delivery insured I surpose? Any rough ideas what it costs to send a pair of trainers?

Any info is appreciated.

Cheers all.

I've sold many on ebay and stockx. Ebay is my win especially nowadays with their authentication process.

They charge the buyer for all the fees (authentication, shipping etc) and provide the label. They charge a flat £8.95 on top for the buyer to pay for the DPD shipping from you to the authentication center and then ebay sents it to the buyer.

Listing is free unless you're a business seller or list a ton (like 300+ a month or so)

Better to put it for a price you'd like and have offers open. Attach lots of pictures.

Ebay authentication is very strong and will nitpick any minor issue, even tiny creases/flaws so make sure to highlight them.

Ebay pay out once your shoes have been authenticated and given the all OK to send to the buyer to your paypal. No fees to move to your bank account.

If your selling trainers online, make sure the insoles are good

I have bought new trainers before and got immediatlly annoyed because the quality of trainers recently seems to be getting worse and worse, insoles just fall apart after walking next to no distance

just lol if you think people buy trainers to actually wear these days

I bought some canvas trainers, they are arriving today in the post

not used ones though, new

So i can walk 'a baaaaat, like im double busy
