SELOC North Weald Sprint (vid)

I took part in the SELOC Sprint at North Weald today, we were joined by a bunch of guys and gals from Borough 19 which was nice.

Top day apart from some (hopefully) superficial damage to my front clam and having to get up at 7am with a hangover after 3 hours sleep Amazing how £7 worth of tea from the burger van can keep you awake all day long.

I'd be surprisied if you managed to damage you clam on a cone, I've hit plenty of them!

These aren't the light weight ones that Walshy uses but heavy motorway ones. There was a Clio with a cracked front wing and another S1 with heavy gouges in the rear clam after hitting cones at speed. I think that I've got away with it as I managed to get enough control back to hit the cone with the number plate though it did ride all the way up the front of the car. My only concern in that the clam under the number plate mounting plinth is damaged though I agree that it is unlikely. There are several scratched that go through the undercoat but I'm not too concerned, they'll fit in with all the stone chips nicely.

Total damage is:
Broken driving light
Demolished number plate
Cracked number plate mount
Couple of though paintwork scratches

The rest should just polish out though my car needs to go to a bodyshop to have some bad respray work redone. I'll get them to look at that at the same time to compensate me.
