The 3000 has more cache, i think 512 as opposed to 256

some have 256k (tbred)and some have 512k (barton)..... thats on socket a

the 2800+ sempron 754 is 1.6ghz and 256k - the sempron 3000+ on 755 is 1.8ghz and 128k

Some have 128KB some have 256KB. I havnt seen one with 512KB before.

Yeah, a Barton core Athlon not a Sempron.
