Send email as a fax?

Is this possible to send an email to a fax number?

I need to fax a few things off but i have no access to a fax machine, is it possible to send a fax from an email?

Don't know then, maybe something like: http://www.efax.co.uk/

I use GFI faxmaker but it requires a dial-up modem still.
