Sending 360 back- need ex hd cover?

I dont have the cover for the 360 that goes on the top of it where the hd goes. DO i need it if i want a new 360? Cheers

If it's a premium console then it doesn't have one anyway, if its a core then what did you do with the cover?

If its broke I cant see them being too picky over something like that.

No I sent mine back without it and got a brand new one back from them

You send it back without faceplates etc and the send you a refurbished model witth new faceplates etc.

I sent my core back, back in Jan without it and got a new one back. So I've 2 covers now
