Sending contacts (business cards)from Iphone to non Iphones

Is it possible to do this?
I have tried to send a few to various friends' different phones (nokis etc) and all they are getting is failed mms messages.
Is it not possible to send the contact details as a plain text message

Anyone know what Im doing wrong?

Are you using OS3 on the iPhone because I believe that the official business card format wasn't introduced until the new version.

Copy and paste the number into a text.

I wanted to send someone a number and found MMS or email were the only options, normally business cards are sent by SMS. It's all part of the iPhail

Sounds about right
