I'm sending my cpu back to OC UK as the delid has failed. I dont have any anti static bags will one of those seal bags you get with screws in be ok. I have plenty of bubble wrap.

any advice?

dont think I have any of that either
Make little cardboard boxes for it
One inside the other for strength
Just about any shop will give you a cardboard box to cut up
If you don't have any cardboard around
As they have to pay to get cardboard removed usually they're happy to give it away
Going to shops still allowed I think :)

I'm interested in the failed delid. What's happened?

RE posting. Just out it in an envelope, it'll be fine. No pins. :)

a year after i got it two of the cores started getting really hot so I RMAd it and was totld the delid had failed and OC UK fixed it. The other day I was watching a video on youtube and heard the cooler ramp up to 100% briefly so I checked the temps core 1 is hitting 100c and core 3 70c the rest are acceptable so it seems the same the same thing has happened again. OC UK say the paste inside could have congealed or a bit has dissapated. They are going to re-fix and say they have a new method of doing it now so I shouldn't have this ussue again
