So I've sold my old i7 965 to some Russian. All the funds are received.

Anyone any idea about shipping it? Does it need declaring etc?

Wasn't entirely sure where to put this!

Send Fully tracked - or it will be a refund job.
i have only ever sent one item out side the UK, it was on the bay, the guy gave my feedback saying good item then opened a dispute and got a refund as there was no tracking. that made me £200 lighter

I sold something to France for £120. Sent it tracked, tracking said it hadn't arrived. THe guy was unusually patient about it but put in a claim near the 60 day mark, and I gave a refund.

I then contacted Royal Mail, who looked into the claim with France Post (or whatever they're called) who updated the tracking to say delivered, and RM wouldn't refund me. I couldn't get the cash back of the Ebay guy, so lost out. I suspect the item was delivered earlier, but the tracking not updated, and the guy used the incomplete tracking as his basis to make the claim.

It's my only bad experience of selling on Ebay after selling approx 150 items for total of around £3k, but it still irritates me.

Refund because you checked the CPU again, and "discovered it was faulty" or "wasn't the model advertised".

Re-advertise to UK buyers only.

I had a similar problem with the bay and Paypal, I sold a case about a year ago, and the guy received it, all be it 2 days late, as my local postal sorting office had a flood, but a week later the Bay got in touch saying he had opened a case, because it arrived later than specified, Paypal as usual went with the buyer, and gave him a full refund, it took me 4 months to resolve the issue.

Thanks guys, I've cancelled the transaction and refuned the monies. I knew there must be a reason she was prepared to drop £120 on it.

I'll move it into the mm for quick sale
