Lets say I have a yahoo email address, [email protected], which serves as my main email address. Then I register joeblogs.co.uk as a domain name.

Now, I know how to get the email that is sent to [email protected] to be redirected to the yahoo address, by simply configuring the options in the control panel of the domain name.

What I don't know how to do is "send" email from the domain name. ie. make email actually sent from the yahoo account, [email protected], appear to come from [email protected]. (Like email sent from amazon.co.uk or overclockers.co.uk etc)

So can you tell me how to do this please?

Not sure if you can do this with yahoo, but what you need to do is change the 'return to address'

Should be in Options somewhere. You could always try running your own mail server, I'm just setting up the same thing atm.

OK, thanks for that. What if I wanted to do the same thing with an ISP-based POP3 email address? Would it be possible do you think? If so, how? Would I do it through the email program (Thunderbird) or through the ISP itself somehow?
