hello!

i have purchased a webdomain .com from register1 and would like to use this to send email, i have used webforwarding to redirect to my webhost on tsohost to show the actual website i have.

what is giving me probems is setting up the email side of things.
i have created an email address through the tsohost control pannel being [email protected]

now rather than having the .tsohost.co.uk part in an emails i send or say using the email address on business cards i want to [email protected]

ive had partial sucess in creating an alias on the register1 control pannel to forward email sent to the .com over to the address at the actual hosting address

surely this will work for incomming email but what about outgoing? its still going to have the tsohost.co.uk in it?

any help is much appreciated

You need to point the domain at Tsohost's nameservers. There should be an option for this in the Register1 control panel.

Nameserver 1: ns1.tsohost.co.uk
Nameserver 2: ns2.tsohost.co.uk

Once this is done, you should add your domain as a "parked" domain in your Tsohost control panel. From there, you will be able to create an email address [email protected]

:)

yeah, there is the option in the register1 cp to enable framed forwarding to either the main page or all pages but id rather not do that

ill give their support a go thanks a lot for the help :D
