what is the fastest way to send a large file over the net as msn is so slow

how large

might be better off posting on a cdrw or something, home internet in the uk is limited to around 32kb/s max upload speeds (this is a generalisation)

Use your pc as an ftp, no point in uploading it to an ftp server for 1 person because it will just take even longer.

Most isps now seem to offer at least 56KB/s upstream.

RADSL is 256Kbps upstream (Approx 32KB/s)
ADSL Max is 400Kbps upstream (Approx 50KB/s) (99% of services which advertise as Upto 8Mbps are Adsl Max.)
ADSL Max Premium is 800Kbps upstream (Approx 100KB/s)

The upstream is contended the same as the downstream, so actuall upstream will vary, but generally upstream's pretty much full speed.

To be honest, I normally get pretty much full speed just using MSN, what speeds have you been getting anyway?
