Sending files to Phone

Hello,
Due to the fact that SAMSUNG's software doesn't work in the slightest, despite full updates and several re-installs, the only way I have of sending music and other files to my PC is via Bluetooth.

This takes 4 mins per song, and needs me to select the device to send it to, and accept it for every single song/file.

I am trying to send approximately 1GB of music and files and I need them before Friday. Seeing as I have school and studies (not to mention instrumental lessons, and band rehearsals ) this simply isn't feasible.

Therefore, I need some software that will let me send all the music and files to my phone both quickly and with no interruptions for permission and device selection!

Does your samsung phone not support a usb data cable, on my sammy g600 i simply use a usb data cable, set the phone to mass storage mode in phone settings, usb settings and transfer stuff direct to my phones memory card, using windows 7, the samsung supplied software is rubbish.

You could always just buy a cheap memory card reader and copy the music to the memory card?

can you not usb your phone to your pc? and if you can does your pc not see the phones internal memory as an external hdd? my old sony ericsson worked this way and i could just drag and drop any files i wanted. never had much joy with mobile to phone software, always found it to be a pain the rectal region!

It certainly is! hate phone software with a passion :mad:

Will have a look. Only data cable I have it the usb cable supplied with the phone

Thats all you need cable wise, as an example. Im just after transferring an album to my phone, took under 30 sec's.

Nope, doesnt work as far as I can tell.
How do you set it to mass storage? is that on the phone?

Yup, 1 minute for a 12 song album instead of 5 mins for 1 song
