How can I send a file over wired network to another PC without the internet slowing down too?

Yeah, tried that and as soon as the transfer started, my ping to my teamspeak server shot up to 1000~ and couldn't even load a webpage.

You could use FTP and cap the xfer rate.

It shouldn't affect other things on your lan, unless you're using homeplugs or wireless, then it might saturate the bandwidth I guess.
