Sending mass sms on Xperia X10

How would I go about sending my new number to all my contacts on my X10? I've been searching through the phone and can't find a way of doing it

Get the app called "Text Easy" on the market. Its pretty good

Its really not something you should need an app for tbh, anyone else get fed up of phones needing an app for something that the phone should just do out of the box?

I really don't see why you need an app for it. My C902 was a simple case of "add recipient" then mark as many as needed.

Surely it must be that simple on the X10, unless SE are going backwards.

My Hero can send a message to multiple recipients easily enough but the option seems to be missing on the X10.Must be Sony's take on android that's to blame.

i quite like the modular approach to it all, i can get my phone to do what i want and not hog resources / space / ui space doing stuff that I don't want.

I agree - but not for something as mundane as sending to multiple people.

You can add multiple reciepients in the standard messaging app, Add the first name in the top box, then press the box again to add another name, repeat as necessary.

Friend of mine got the x10 today, told him to try 'text easy'.

Pretty shocking that it lacks such a basic feature.
