2133 or higher low profile must be 16gb.
2x8gb

I am getting awfull stuff happening with the current stuff i have,

Avexir Core Blue Series 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17000C9 2133MHz Quad Channel Memory Kit (AVD3U21330904G-4CI)

when running @ XMP profile things in windows will just shut down no error in eventviewer
if i run memtest86+ it will do a complete pass error free then the next pass it will error or not but every time i leave it over night errors and i cant seem to get rid of them, bugging the hell out of me.

could just be that avexir are **** at being memory suppliers. or they dont test the sticks they send out for retail.
or my i7 or motherboard i just bought is the issue.

You could have just gotten a bad set of RAM ify our not happy getting the same again just change for some other well known brand

tested the memory and all sticks pass when i put 2 in and test pass, other 2 in pass, all 4 in failed.
run cpu at default and still fails a test
i can only put it down to that my motherboard does not like 4 dims or my i7 has a crippled imc.

trust me to buy mobo/cpu/ddr3 at the same time something was bound to fk up.

If so then send it back sounds like bad IMC as all four slots are working you dont buy new to not have it work the way you want :) did you up your ram volts in bios i have had a few people say z87 ram somtimes needs a little extra juice and you could try imputing your timings manully so you know 100 percent there set wright?

I would try putting 1 stick of memory in first and then set the timings etc manually in the bios. Then add the other sticks of ram - check timings and set in bios. You may have to up the voltage for the memory slightly for all 4 sticks as your cpu imc may be a bit weak. Try that and see how you go.

is a 2 x 8gb set better than a 4 x 4gb set for Haswell or will it have no bearing? Looking a 16gb set myself at around 2133/2400
