Sending picture in Skype

Trying to send pictures in Skype to a friend obviously they use the cloud system i believe I cant see his pictures and he cant see mine what is going on?

This has been the case for some time now we are both on latest versions.

How do you mean? I drag and drop picture in chat box and also go to send picture button at bottom the picture shows as sent but we both cant see anything if we do the same thing.

Both of you, update your Skype to the latest/same version and see if that helps.

I had that problem until contact updated, he was running an out of date version where I was on the latest.
