Sending to Ireland

Hi there,

I have a package that I need to send to Ireland.

Basically, I am looking for the cheapest service, without it taking months to get there.

The package itself weighs no more than 250g.

I have looked at airmail, but that looks quite dear considering the price of the item.

I have looked a surface mail, that looks ok on price, but will it actually get there?

Anyone had any experience with any of the like services?

What's royal mails international version of "standard post", i assume its "surface mail"?

Am i right in assuming there are no "postal codes" or similar for Ireland?
