Sennheiser GSP 300 or Razer Kraken Pro V2?

Anyone have preference please?

I am siding with the Sennheisers owing to their pedigree.

Razer niggle me with their build quality sometimes.

The senns then. If it literally HAS to be one of the 2 for... reasons

(good HD5xx senns with a ketdirect mic would destroy either though for same money

).

I did end up getting the Sens anyway and to be honest, it is a great all round headset.

The reason for wanting a headset is it is for a younger gamer and makes for simplicity

Yup. I came from a messy headphone setup to the 5xx and a mic. Most of the 5xx series have a detachable cable. The mic.... thing replaces the cable (has a mic moulded into the cable jack at the headphone end basically) so you get a nice tidy setup.
With younger folks destroying headphones generally by cable damage first...
