Hi,

I'm after a pair of Bluetooth headphones for my son to use to connect to his Hudl 2 which has bluetooth v4.0. Purely home use so no need for noise cancellation.

In the past I have used the Sennheiser outlet with great success and they have the HD 4.40BT for £50 - http://outlet.se-shop.de/shops/detail.php?product_id=3296.

Never having purchased Bluetooth headphones before, before I pull the trigger I thought I'd ask the experts here if there are any others at this price point I should be considering.

Thanks in advance for any help.

It depends if you're wanting to stick to £50. If so, I don't think you'll do better than the HD4.40 BT for £50; unless someone knows of some other discounted Bluetooth headphones.

Any £50 Bluetooth headphones that have not had a discount aren't to be that great, because the Bluetooth electronics and battery adds cost. The headphones would have to be cheap before the electronics are added.

I think if I were looking to get Bluetooth headphones, then the cheapest I'd be looking at (other than Sennheiser), would be AKG Y45BT. They are smaller on ear type and possibly not any better than the HD4.40 though, as they are £70, which is a similar price to the HD4.40 without the Sennheiser outlet discount.

Thanks for the response. I've had a look round and I'm going to go with the HD4.40 BT.
I can't justify spending a lot more on a young lad who will use them primarily to listen to youtube on his tablet.
