Sennheiser HD555 with Onboard P5W DH sound or PCI Soundcard

As the title i m wondering how much better these headphones would be with a pci card, i ve looked on the net to see how good the xfi cards are and i m trying to weigh up if its worth the upgrade, at the moment i think the sound is excellent but how much better would it be with a good sound card?

I ve not seen a review on the onboard stuff of my mobo so dont know?

Anyone?

I received mine this morning from OcUK and they are amazing (i'd swear aswell but we not allowed ).

I have SB Audigy 4 and use them with that, the sound quality is great and can hear every little thing in both music and games (even a weapon change can be pinpointed anywhere around you), got good bass aswell.

They are compfy and don't rest on your ears either so you can wear them all day like I have been today and won't feel any aching or anything, so yeah they should be good for you on either on board (which is pretty good these days) or if you get a PCI card, althought it would be hella better with a PCI card especially and XFI one.

Ive got some sennheiser hd 595s with an xfi xtrememusic and it sound fantastic on board would be ok but an pci sound card will make the bass deeper and faster and the treble sweeter
