Hey all,

really like the looks of the IE7i and IE8i. While both are a lot of money, I figure you get what you pay for. However, I can only see the IE8i at £275 at another shop - that's a lot of money for earphones that could get lost or nicked.

Anyone havea better price? Are they a very recent release? Can't seem to find them anywhere...

Thanks for that bit they are not the iPhone ones; they're the normal IE 8s. I'm after the IE 8i which has the inline mic and controls.

You will be looking at no less than £250 for ie8i's unfortunately. Alternatives:

Sennheiser MM 70 iP @ £70
Klipsch Image S4i @ £90
Bose Mobile In-Ear Headphones with Mic @ £90
Sennheiser CX 880i @ £100
Shure SE115M+ @ £120

Maybe others that ive missed, but as you say, you get what you pay for.

Shame, those ie80is look amazing, I bet they sound great too. Sadly £270 is too much for earphones that will only be used to and from work and will stuffed in my pocket most of the time haha.

I did see the MM70iPs - wonder how good they sound?

Out of that list, what is rated highest?
 
I have IE8's not IE8i's im guessing the only difference is the iphone stuff and they are a cracking set of earphones. Absolute pleasure to listen to. I guess the price is quite an issue though at £270
 
Yeah it's too much, even though I do love my music.

Looking at Klipsch X10i at about £200 (seen them on ebay for £170 but I'm a bit sceptical)
