Sennheiser Momentum-G Earphones

Hi,

I seen these for 79.99 in a shop in the Arndale and was so tempted to pick them up, I'm looking for a nice pair of earphones so I can chill with music on the train.

Are these worth the money? I currently use AKG earphones that I got with my S9+ but from what I can tell they're just cheap generic crappy earphones under the name.

Any advice welcome, cheers.

No idea about the Momentum-G Earphones, but the ones that came with your s9+ are very decent earphones retial price for them is around £100 i think. they are pretty highly rated , all told from quite a few you tube reviewers ect. Also from what i remember they are the best buds included with a mobile phone.

Not tried the Momentum-G but I've got a couple of older pairs of the Momentum and tried the 2.0 version and while I like the sound it is a bit gimmicky with a "trick" bass which results in some slight mid-range congestion and I believe a similar signature sound is used across the range and while it is nice for a novelty I didn't personally find it a sound I'd want to use for long term general listening.

Maybe I'll look at some reviews and see what is the best bang for buck not just gimmicky sound.

Are you looking for earbuds, in-ear or on-ear? I'm a little confused on that point.

Yea not surpised lol they come with every samsung phone since s8 or was it from the s7 onowards doesnt negate the orignal value though. you wont find better supplied earphones in any phone as far as i am aware a great starting point

I have some Sennheiser Momentum in-ear buds which look identical and were that price, but must have been an earlier model. I like them a lot. They are not as bass heavy as I would like and are very neutral. However they do leak sound into them a lot so are not ideal on a train.

I do like them though.
