Sennheiser PC160 Thoughts

Hi,
With the help of people on these forums, i decided to buy the Sennheiser PC 160's.
They are a very good headset but a few things can be quite annoying. The bass is a little weak for loud explosions and the ear pads are too small.
I recently found out that there are 2 versions of this headset, an SK version which has XL ear pads.
This picture is shown on OcUK for the PC160's:

These are actually the SK version.

However the headset you receive looks more like this:

I just think OcUK should advertise this product a little more honestly :confused:

Glad i found this thread, is this still the case? As i was going to order them and i would prefer the SK version...

They are not being dishonest, they simply copy the text and pictures associated with a product from the manufacturers own website a lot of the time,
This has been explained a couple of times before when people have found spelling mistakes and such.

Chances are either someone has made a genuine mistake or this is the image shown on Sennheiser's own site, they are not going out of their way to lie to you.

As it goes I have the PC150's and consider them to be excellent. I would be very suprised if the 160's could be worse than the previous version that they are based upon.

Yea i know its a mistake, but its pretty misleading all the same... Thinking yir gonna get what you want, just to find out when it comes you have to go to the hassle of returning the item.

Probably no differance between the 2 products apart from the ear cup anyway?

Yer just been looking around the Sennheiser website, looks like they are the same headset but the ear cups are just a different material, possibly slightly wider aswell.
