I have been looked for some cheap headphones for gaming.

What is the difference between the Sennheiser PX100 Headphones and Sennheiser PX200 Headphones?

Are they worth the extra cost?

And do they have a volume switch?

Thanks

I think the PX100s are very similar to the Koss Porta Pro headphones.

they are simular, many would say the styling of the PX100's is more preferable, sound wise the mid's are more revealing on the PX100's and not as much bass as the Porta Pro's, in regards to the PX200's I definitly would'nt reccomend them, I found them very very bright, theres revealing then theres bleeding for ear drums out, and I'm afraid the PX200's were the latter, bass wise, well there was non, I treid breaking them in hopeing the sound would warm slightly but nope, in the end I took them back and exchanged them for the PX100's.

I've got the PX100s and PX200s in my collection of headphones. Main difference is the 100s are open backed and the 200s are closed backed. Personally I much prefer the sound of open backed headphones and I certainly prefer the 100s over the 200s. More comfortable as well. I use them with my iPod, but they aren't best suited to the tube as they (as all open backed headphones do) leak a fair bit of sound out. Not listened to any in ear headphones that compare to the sound quality at the price, they all sound like boom boxes to my ears. The CX300s are terrible in comparison, I'm amazed so many people seem to like them.
