Your motherboard is DDR4 and your RAM is DDR5.

Personally, if I was spending that much on a motherboard, it would be DDR5 and if I was buying DDR4, I'd get a much cheaper one, e.g.

Do you need nvidia for some reason? Cuda? AI work?

The Strix PSU is an older pre-ATX 3.0/PCIE5 design and I'm not sure if Asus bundle the 12/16 pin connector, or if you still have to request one. An alternative:

At the top-end VR mostly, flight sims like Il2/DCS and maybe some MSFS. Also some FPS which tend to be a little heavy on the cpu/card - Tarkov, modded skyrim and of course Starfield if its any cop.

my comments:
  • with 13700F choose a B760 mobo, Z790 works but it's unnecessary.
  • make sure mobo and ram are the same ddr version.
  • 32gb probably enough unless you know you need more.
  • with 4070 Ti choose 850W PSU.
  • 212 cooler is not good enough for 13700F, alternatives: peerless assassin, NH-U12A.

As others have said, my immediate thought on your list was ‘that needs a better cooler’. I would look at better options, again already suggested by others.

My only other comment would be that you haven’t mentioned the case, unless my old eyes fail me?

That may impact things like the cooler choice and even the mobo (i assume you aren’t using an mATX case but it’s just something to keep in mind).
