Hey guys

Good friend of mine is looking to replace his laptop with a semi-decent PC for gaming. Aiming for 1080p/60. He mostly plays Dota 2 but would like to ability to play other games in due course.

How does this look?

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £716.43
(includes shipping: £12.60)

Case is out of stock but I can get that from that Rainforest place.

Would you change anything on here?

Don't pay a extra £30 just for a extra 200mhz. Drop the cpu to the G4560 which is more sensibly priced at £64.99. The Superflower Golden Green HX450w is a much better psu than the Corsair although all of the cables are fixed. It has a 444w 12v rail, gold rated and has a 5 year warranty. The Corsair CX series are not very good and have poor quality internals.

The new Grey label versions are pretty good units. They have upgraded the internals and the warranty to 5 years. I would say it is fine for a build like this one. The SuperFlower is priced the same though, so I would take it over the Corsair at the moment.

I agree with the cpu. Makes sense to drop down to the G4560.
