Sensei replacement

My steelseries sensei broke recently, so I'm looking for a replacement mouse that is of similar a shape. I was hoping one of the zowie mice would be a good fit, but not sure.

Any ideas?

Those zowie mice do look very similar in shape - Particularly the FK series. The ZA series has a bigger bum at the back if that is what you want.

When my sensei broke I bought a rival but preferred the familiarity of the sensei so I fixed it. I also spent about a week with the sensei wireless which was really good but it broke super quick and I got a refund (it was 2nd hand).

In the end I stuck with the sensei and bought another (2nd hand) (and a RAW) as a backup if it breaks.

What exactly has broken on your sensei?
 
The left mouse button. It is just not responding anymore.

I may do as you say, and get another sensei. This mouse has been perfect for me and lasted quite a long time (I bought it in 2011).
 
My left mouse button started double clicking and became super sensitive. I opened it up and found it uses the very common Omron D2FC-F-7N switch. They are a couple of quid each from the UK and pennies from China (though you'll be waiting for delivery).

Fortunately the only thing that was damaged for me was the metal plate inside the switch was super bent so I swapped that out.

Your issue might be different but for such a small price I would attempt to fix first.
 
Unfortunately my left button is not responding at all. Difficult to diagnose what the exact issue is without having a look inside. But I suppose it's worth ago given that I was ready to bin it.

If you are going to take it apart be careful with the feet. The screws are underneath so you have to peel them off but don't use anything metal as it will scratch them or dent the edges.

I made this mistake and it made the mouse horrible to use. Once again china came to the rescue and replacement feet are super cheap but I had to wait 2 weeks.
 
I was in the same boat mate, however I just love the Sensei. I use all the buttons on it including the ones on the right of the mouse too. In the end I just ended up getting another Sensei.
 
Get the FK2 if yours has died, I have it and its great :) similar shape to the sensei. Also if you wanna play it safe but another sensei :)
