Just after some opinions here, I've had a 7900 XTX 24GB for nearly 2 years and really don't feel i have utilised it or pushed it enough to really warrant keeping it arouund wit the prices dropping the way they are.

I only play games at 1440P and run 2 x 2k monitors (Sometimes a 3rd 1080p) in day to day Desktop usage, I'm happy to drop from Ultra to High in games, but was looking at something like the Intel 580 12Gb or something similar, ideally under £350 so I can make a bit of profit on the 7900 and still have decent performance, rest of PC Specs are

Intel I7-13700KF on an Asus Prime Z-790P - Would this run for the short term just using the onboard Display port connections (Wasn't sure if being an F I can even do this?)
32Gb RAM
3TB of NVME

Thanks for any advice, main games played are Forza Motorosport, Asseto Corsa, Mount & Blade Bannerlord & Farm Sim '25.

Thanks!

£350 will nearly get you a 7700xt. Or take a punt on some of the B grades on OCUK and put an offer in.

Thanks, yeah that is one I was looking at, I don't think the specs would really struggle with most things at 1440P, infact I dare say I'd 99% not even notice a difference!

Has the B-Grade section on the shop/forum moved? Can't seem to see it!

Top right hand side Deals>Clearance>Graphics Cards. Not that anything stands out in there apart from the ridiculous prices.

£350 could 'nearly' get you a 7800XT not just a 7700XT

re: B Grade - they have 3 7800XTs in stock ... https://www.overclockers.co.uk/?query=b%20grade%207800xt

Prices are original pricing so you kinda have to ignore if making an offer.

Not sure I follow on that, the cheapest 7800XTs on there are £500, which isn't exactly "nearly"

in theory I'd get just under £600 for the 7900XTX so ideally want to be pockletingat least £200, so the 7700XT does look viable, possibl, I'm probably over thinking!

2 different statements :)

New 7800XTs have, on occasion hit very close to £350

B Grade items usually have their original RRPs and don't get updated so you have to ignore the pricing on the page, you can make an offer to Robbie for one https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/b-grade-clearance-and-forum-deals.18925626/

I bought a B Grade 7800XT Hellhound for significantly less than the £550 price it showed on that page.

Awesome, thanks, hopefully Robbie doesn't kick my ass for this offer!!

7800 XT was fairly widely available around the £400-£450 mark awhile back and the 7700 XT from £300 - £350 (even below for a bit), so offers in the region of 300-350 and 250-300 wouldn't be an unreasonable ask, I don't think.

they can always say no, but it costs you nothing to make an offer.

I've had some bargains off there my monitor was retailing for £499 and I got it b grade for half that and I am using it now and I bought it before well before Covid!

The Nitro+, TUF and Hellhound will (obviously) be different prices, the Hellhound will be cheaper I think.
I made an offer on the Sapphire originally but it was too low however Robbie kindly gave me pricing on the others so I ended up happy with what I got :)
