According to a certain offshore gaming site, the release date is 09/06/2006

I know this information may not be 100% accurate.. but if it is...

SENSI ON THE DS - WOO HOO
 
Given that it was never announced, doesn't appear on any other shop site, and isn't listed as a platform on the Codemasters site for the game, I very much doubt it'll appear.

Shame though, as it would be fantastic, and I'd buy it like a shot.
 
Well to be fair, it's got nothing to do with CodeMasters now, the rights to the game are owned by Tower Games, who have recently released on Mobile Phones, so whilst not confirmed, there's a chance it may appear in the near future.

It was Tower that developed the Mobile version and yes they own the rights as Sensible Software and Tower are the same person, Jon Hare.

Well find me any other link to any evidence of Sensi DS other than the ******* page, and I'd be far more inclined to believe this story.

I mean, hell, try googling the words 'Sensible Soccer DS'. First link is to ********, and every link after it has nothing to do with it. They're all pages about the other new Sensi versions, that just happen to contain the words DS somewhere on them. Do it with quote marks round the words and there are three whole results for them, again the ******** page, and two random foreign forum posts. If there really was a Sensi for the DS coming out, there'd at least be a few sites with a random page for it, like IGN, which has a page for pretty much every game ever announced, no matter whether they have any news on it or not.

I'm all for rumours of Sensi for the DS, but to expect it to be coming out in little over a months time with no prior announcement seems more than a little unlikely.

EDIT: Apologies, I couldn't remember if that site was allowed to be mentioned or not, and since someone else had already, I assumed it wasn't.
