Sensible Upgrade?

From a Mondeo ST24?

Not going to be changing until early next year now, but it has got me thinking about what i would like to change to!

Immediate thought was a Mondeo ST220, but it got me thinking about what other similar "sporty" or "performance" family saloons/hatch's you can get for similar sort of cash?

I could only really come up with Octavia vRS. Would like to be able to consider Accord Type-R, but they are all 9-10 years old now, with reasonably high mileage.

Thoughts/suggestions?

You're asking for in a years time. In a year, you could have more/less money could have had an accident, got points etc. Prices could have gone up/down for cars. Look when you're actually going to buy rather than day dream a month or so after you've just bought one. You'll only be wasting peoples and your own time

I think something like a vauxhall Monaro Scorching speed and acceleration from its 403PS, six-litre V8 engine
will take the Monaro VXR from a standstill to 62mph in just over five seconds.

happy times.
 
I'll take two, by that time the price will have fluctuated so much you will be able to buy one for the price of a bag of crisps. I'll hold that thought though, wrap it up and put it in a dark, dark place so i don't waste anyones time.

Thing is, they do have a point. What's the point in looking a year ahead when so many things can change?
 
Id hang on tbh.

Some cars you may really like could be within your budget by then.

However I will chuck one in for you to think about:

Astra VXR ;)
