As per the title.
What are they like? I know they're expensive ~£20-30 (so I've seen), but how do they compare to swabs?
I can see they're a better investment if they are actually any cop, as the swabs/fluid/etc can get expensive. I know there could be issues with contamination of the brush, but I have an infinite supply of new grip seal bags and filtered breathing air to blow the particles off (I work in optical engineering). I took my new (secondhand) DSLR into the cleanroom at work the other day, and gave it a damn good going over with a brush and other things in conjunction with some clean air. It was very dusty in front of the mirror, almost like the previous owner had left it on the sideboard without a body cap on
The sensor does have a few minute specs on that are barely visible to the naked eye, but no doubt these will encroach on any images I shoot.
So I need to get something soon to give the beast a good wipe!
