sensor cleaning ??

its been a long time since I've looked at cleaning CCD on a camera, and I was wondering if the best thing is still: pec pads and sensorswipe -think thats what they where called- from copper hill ?

If so best place to get then from in uk

. I must admit I don't like the idea of a Rocket blower...I can just see more dust being thrown around inside camera.

So how often should I clean ? to be honest at the moment I'm only going to having 17mm 1.8 on for shooting 35mm (actually it will be 34mm) street photography. so should get to much dust as the camera is meant to be weather sealed!

from what I remember if you do get it on the sensor, if it is left for a length of time, it kind of bakes on.
