Seperating sound from HDMI for 360 Elite

I'm just about to return to uni n october and realised I don't know what to do about sound for my 360.

I'll only be taking my PC/laptop monitor which doesn't have speakers and there isn't a TV in my room.

Is there such a cable that can split the HDMI cable from my elite into HDMI for the visual and say a 3.5 so I can plug my PC speakers in?

Pick up one of these:

Can be had for less than £1 used. Then using the cable JoeRiches posted above (or similar depending on what connector your speakers use)
